What is Hlanganisa Collective?

Hlanganisa Collective is a Creator Discovery and Brand Growth Collective based in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is not a talent agency.

Does it cost anything to join the creator list?

No. There is no fee to submit your details or to be on the list. If Hlanganisa Collective places you in a gig, we charge a 5% creator fee on that gig, and we confirm it with you in writing before work begins.

Will I get brand work if I join?

Not necessarily. We cannot promise briefs or campaigns. Joining means you are considered when a relevant opportunity comes up.

Do I need a minimum number of followers?

No minimum is set. We look for creators with trusted, engaged audiences, including those who are still small.

Who sees my details?

The two founders review your details. We will tell you before your details are shared with any brand.

What happens after I submit my details?

You receive a confirmation email with a link to your member area. A founder reviews your profile and may reply personally. We tell you before anything is shared with a brand.

Can I update my details later?

Yes. Sign in to your member area with your email address to edit your profile, follow short lessons and see where you stand. There is no password.

How do I remove my details?

Email info@hlanganisacollective.co.za and we will remove your details.

Do I have to be based in Johannesburg?

No. The collective is based in Johannesburg, and the form asks where you live so that we understand your audience.

How old do I need to be?

You must be 18 or older to submit your details.
